Our Implementation Methodology
Summit Business Solutions uses a five step implementation process to move its customers into position to use the selected software solutions quickly. These five phases consist of Analysis, Design, Development and Testing, Pilot and Deployment, and, finally, Go-Live and Ongoing Support. This flexible yet systematic approach to bringing a customer "online" has a number of benefits. First and foremost, it is an approach forged out of the collective experience of the SBS team and allows for the consistent and repeatable application of hard-won lessons from years of projects.
Second, it fosters and encourages active participation from the customer's key personnel, thus reducing the chance of significant misalignment between the direction of the implementation and the customer expectations. As the implementation proceeds, there are key events in each phase. Typically, the customer's participation is central to the successful outcome of these key events and signs off on one phase before the next one begins. As an added benefit, the active participation by the customer's key personnel as the key events unfold serve to increase the degree of end user satisfaction because their involvement in the process increases their investment and reduces the sense that the software solution has been imposed on them.
